Platforms

The Right Platform for the Right Job
Because learning needs are as diverse as the range of professions in the world, 3Dsolve offers a diverse range of platforms for simulation learning development. Instead of a “one size fits all approach,” 3Dsolve selects the right platform for each customer and project.

3Dnerve provides a rich platform for high-fidelity, simulation-based, Level 4 Interactive Multimedia Instruction courseware. Currently based on Macromedia’s extremely popular Shockwave delivery platform—but portable to Adobe Acrobat in the future—3Dnerve enables the creation and simulation of 2D and 3D objects, environments, and scenarios.

The America’s Army Game Project
3Dsolve has recently become a contributor to the America’s Army Project. While America’s Army is probably best known as the creator of one of the five most popular PC action games played online, with almost seven million registered users and over 2,000 game servers, it was initially built as a recruiting tool and originated in the U.S. Army’s Office of Economic Manpower & Analysis.

DPM-3D: Dynamic Plant Model in 3D DPM-3D is very effective in connecting the simulated system that our clients provide to us with our collaborative and immersive 3D environment. Our first project using DPM-3D supports up to 5 trainees and an instructor, with each able to move through the 3D scene to concurrently interact with the 3-Dimensional virtual equipment while communicating with each other.
