3Dsolve at I/ITSEC,
December 4-7, 2006
The Interservice/Industry Training, Simulation and Education
Conference (I/ITSEC) will be held in Orlando, Florida
from December 4-7, 2006. I/ITSEC, which is organized
by the National Training and Simulation Association
(NTSA), promotes cooperation among the armed services,
industry, academia and various government agencies in
pursuit of improved training and education programs,
identification of common training issues and development
of multiservice programs.
3Dsolve delivers complete turn-key solutions
based on commercially available off-the-shelf (COTS)
hardware and software. 3Dsolve is a sustaining member
of the NTSA and has been named to Military Training
Technologys Top 100 for the fourth year in a row
with honors for innovation. 3Dsolves Chief Executive
Officer Richard Boyd sits on the NTSA Executive Committee
and has also been named as a candidate for the new Emerging
Technologies and Innovative Solutions Sub-Committee.
Individuals interested in meeting with
3Dsolve (Booth 343) should contact 3Dsolve Business
Development Manager Mike Lerg at Mike.Lerg@lmco.com

Dana Cowley at dana.cowley@clearimagepr.com
or (919) 863-2393 x217.
At this years I/ITSEC, 3Dsolve is
featuring two innovative technologies: DPM-3D
for large scale collaborative training in complex environments,
and OV3D for visualizing
the network centric battlefield. 3Dsolve will also be
showcasing its recent work with the Americas
Army Game Project.
DPM-3D
(Dynamic Plant Model in 3D) is a high fidelity multi-user
training environment that communicates with real or
simulated equipment. Our first project using DPM-3D
supports up to 5 trainees and an instructor, with
each able to move through a complex 3D computer-generated
environment to concurrently interact with the 3-Dimensional
virtual equipment while communicating with each other.

OV3D
(Operational Views in 3D) is a visual simulation tool
enabling planners to create scenarios describing communications
networks in a modern 3D battlespace environment, with
instant visualization of these scenarios for interactive
editing and presentation to senior decision-makers.
