Croquet is a long-term development project designed to enable fundamentally new types of applications. Ideal for large-scale, collaborative, simulation-based training environments, Croquet is a new open source software platform designed from the ground up for the development and deployment of applications enabling extremely rich visual collaboration between users.

As an open source platform based on a highly flexible license, Croquet is completely non-proprietary and can be modified to suit any organization’s needs. This will make it especially suitable for the military community, in that adopting groups will have the ability to adapt Croquet for secure usage and non-public applications. 3Dsolve provides critical resources and support to the Croquet development effort, which is a large-scale project supported by major US corporations and universities.
