Platforms 3Dnerve

3Dnerve3Dnerve provides a rich platform for high-fidelity, simulation-based, Level 4 Interactive Multimedia Instruction courseware. Currently based on Macromedia’s extremely popular Shockwave delivery platform—but portable to Adobe Acrobat in the future—3Dnerve enables the creation and simulation of 2D and 3D objects, environments, and scenarios.

3Dnerve utilizes XML for scenario definition, Javascript for behavioral coding, and Macromedia Flash for 2D animation. 3Dnerve provides full SCORM compliances and connectivity with existing Learning Management Systems. The toolset of 3Dnerve allows for extremely rapid simulation learning content creation, with development cycles as short as a few weeks for limited-scope projects.

3Dnerve is used as the platform for the 25B10 Information Systems Operator / Analyst courseware developed for the US Army Signal Corps.

3Dnerve: Task-based Simulation Learning (5 Min. 33 Sec.)
3Dnerve is a Task-based simulation engine specifically designed to develop interactive hands-on training applications that are: SCORM 1.2 compliant, Distributed Learning Level 4 Interactive Multimedia Instruction (IMI) courseware from a 1st person point of view, with connectivity to existing Learning Management Systems (LMS).

Level 4 IMI is simulation-based learning – the most advanced form of such instruction and is used in all courseware developed using any of 3Dsolve’s platforms – especially 3Dnerve.
